Developing a Business Plan
A business plan defines the uniqueness of your business. It identifies your goals,
your competition, and serves as your company's resume. Basically you want to include
a current and pro forma balance sheet, an income statement, and a cash flow analysis.
It helps you allocate resources in order to handle unforeseen complications and helps
you to stay witin your budget. Because it provides specific and organized information
about your company and it's financial health, a good business plan is a crucial part
of any loan application.
|
|
|
Additionally, it informs others about your operations and goals as well as providing
a backbone for your daily business decisions.
As you begin writing your business plan, consider five core questions:
- What service or product does your business provide and what needs does it fill?
- Who are the potential customers for your product or service?
- Why will they purchase it from you?
- How will you reach your potential customers?
- Where will you get the financial resources to start your business?

Bringing your business into the Global Market
1. Setting up a budget.
Bard Web Hosting will work with you in developing a web site that comes within your
budget restraints. |
2. Internet marketing.
Internet marketing can get quite costly and for a web site business to be successful you
should consider what you can afford to spend on search engine listings. We develop a system of 'meta tags' within your web site that include
keywords and business description, but that doesn't insure a good ranking in the search engines. We also offer links from other web site and can discuss
other methods to market your business online. |
3. Web site requirements.
Every business is different and your web site should not conflict with your
business plan. We advise business owners to consider what they need to get started, while keeping in mind how they would like to see their
online presence expand over time. |

Join the millions in promoting your products on eBay
eBay, one of the most popular auction web sites, is an optional marketing tool to promote your product(s). It doesn't
require a knowledge of HTML, or any programming skills - and provides many services that make it quite easy to list your
items for sale. In addition to selling your products, you can build a 'brand' for your business.
In addition to selling on eBay is the availablility of taking payments through PayPal. This will allow your customers to
immediately purchase your item online and pay for it with any credit card (even if you don't have a merchant account!)
